What about back-ordered items?

The back-order system in JAYA is both simple to use and very flexible. You can create orders where some items are shipped and some or back ordered. All you need to do is check a box on the line item (the widget you are selling) when you create the order.

On the invoice, back-ordered items are noted so the customer can see what was shipped and what wasn’t.

When your inventory comes in, you simply run the Back-Order Report that will tell you which Invoice numbers (we call them Order Number) you need to pull up to complete the shipment. We provide you a button that will “dupe” the order so all you need to do is modify the line items and send the new “invoice” along with the order. Very simple and very easy.
