I want to use my own customer and/or invoice numbers

Yes, we know. This is something people wanted in our desktop software… but never got. So for JAYA we now allow (require) that you input a unique customer number as well as an invoice number. This means you can use so-called “intelligent” numbers like 123-JULY-1-03-762X or whatever floats your boat.

For those who don’t want to do this, you can simple use a progression (like 1001, 1002, etc) and the program will tell you what the next highest one is for you to assign. Same for Invoice numbers.
