What about other services that compete with JAYA?

Many of the other service are good… if you have the need for many “whistles and bells” and you want to do business with a huge corporations.

Here are some points to consider… in favor of JAYA123.

1. Many services require that you run Windows AND the Microsoft IE browser. You can’t use a Macintosh or any of the Linux flavors. You must have Windows with IE. With JAYA, we don’t care what kind of computer you have… PC, Mac, Palm Pilot…. or what browser… IE, Opera, Safari, Galeon, Mozilla, etc. They all work with JAYA.

2. Other services require that you have a broadband connection. Why? Because they have “bloated up” their applications with tons of slow graphics, something JAYA does not do (it has ZERO graphics in order to make it quick on even a slow dial-up.) And JAYA also has an option to use non-encrypted transmission for those in areas that might have noisy phone lines.

3. While the JAYA inventory is not all that sophistaicated, it works well for most small businesses. Many other services have no inventory module at all. And the JAYA inventory system is flexible in that you can have 4 locations per product, not just one.

4. JAYA does not try to be all things to all businesses. It was designed for the small business who wish to adhere to the KISS principal… Keep It Simple, Stupid. Some other services have thrown in everything including the kitchen sink…. and have made their systems overly complex. No one wants to read a college-level textbook to figure out how to use their office system.

5. Some other services don’t let you download YOUR data whenever you wish (or at all!). JAYA went to great pains to make sure you can get your data so that if you wish to run your own form letters or labels (even though JAYA does great labels) you CAN!

6. JAYA is very simple to use… because we designed it expressly for the web. Other services have taken their desktop software and retro-fitted it for the web. Thus, with some of these, you have to have a Ph.D in Economics or an MBA to figure out how to work it.

7. We have a long history of giving great support. AND, we are always happy to ADD new reports or new functions suggested by our customer base. Indeed, that is how we “grew” our desktop software… and we expect we will “grow” JAYA the same way (although JAYA already has a huge amount of functionality.) If there is a report that you need, talk to us and if possible, we will be happy to include it.

8. Some of the other services are run by huge, globalized, multi-national corporations and many have a “not so good” reputation for how they treat their customers. JAYA is run by a small company where you can actually speak to the owners, and who will do everything we can to “bust our butt” to make it “right” for our customers…. the same way we’ve been doing business for the past ten years. When you pay these large firms, you are paying their stockholders. When you pay us, you are putting bread on the tables (and dog/cat food in the bowls!) of those who actually wrote JAYA and who work to keep it the best it can be.
